Annual Dinner 2009

Our Annual Dinner was held on February 4th 2010.
It all started in the afternoon, when colleagues started to gather around 4:30 in Happy Valley Jokey Club to play Mahjong and wait for the other guests to arrive. By 7:00 p.m. everybody had gathered in Happy Valley and was ready to start the evening. After a quick presentation from Nevis and Ivan, the hosts of the event, Director Mr. Raymond Lung took the microphone to share the company’s summary and results of 2009, the future goals he hopes to achieve, as well as the company’s best moments of 2010, like the Grand Opening of our New Branch on Seymour Road, our trip to Japan, and The Oxfam Trailwalker.
All the guests then enjoyed an amazing western buffet: oysters, smoked salmon, foie gras, duck, mushroom noodles, fish with butter sauce… finished by exquisite deserts, crème brulée, lemon tart, strawberry tartlets, tiramisu…
Once the delicious dinner over, our colleagues Gavin, Thomas, John, Jonathan and Teddy offered us a great concert, without forgetting special guest Warren! It was then time for Mr. Raymond Lung to deliver the different prizes to our employees and salespeople who were, surprised and happy to be rewarded for their hard work during 2009. Then finally, the moment everybody is waiting for but few get rewarded: The Lucky Draw! Red packets and more impressive presents have been distributed like a media multi player, dog shaped speakers, and even an LCD T.V.
But the most important surprise was probably the job promotion some of the employees and salespeople had the chance to get.
The whole evening was lovely and wonderful, full of surprises and great events. We thus would like to say a special thanks to the people who helped organizing it and put a lot of effort for the event to go just the way they wanted: Anna, Kethy, Sandy and of course Nevis and Ivan. Thanks also to our musicians who created such a relaxed atmosphere!
Let’s hope next Annual Dinner will be as successful as this one!
